Welcome to Brush of Many Colors! I'm an artist who to paint and draw. I like to paint/draw portraits, flowers, and landscapes.

I've been creating art for as long as I can remember, and even though I've got a day job, I try make time to make something on the side. Some years, I paint non-stop putting out high effort paintings every months. Other years I go for long stretches of time without drawing/painting anything. 

I've started this blog about a month ago. It started out as mostly showcasing my work/process. Then, I started putting together practical posts (tutorials, starter kits) to help folks start their journey. This was mostly inspired by reddit. I got on reddit and found out I know a lot of techniques, tricks and experience that other folks can benefit from (also learning there is a lot I need to learn too). I learned that other folks struggle to get inspired, to get back into their artistic grind, and not to get discouraged by the negative thoughts. Now my goal is to inspire others and myself to make something, anything, by providing the tools, tricks, and ideas.   

So please take a look around and let me know what you think: requests, feedback, resources, seeking/giving advice. I hope you enjoy my posts and find some inspiration in it.
